A family purchased helmet which was never available on the market before! A German M35 helmet. The earliest type of helmet issued to Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine and Waffen-SS troops. This example was issued by the Heer.
Paint: Original factory paint. Near mint. 99% of the original "apple-green" color in place.
Decals: The eagle decal is about 95%. Some scratches. The national decal around 95% as well.
Lining: Flexible leather lining. Still very soft. Original cord. "57" size stamped. "Reich" named twice.
Unopened prongs. The liner is original to the shell.
Chin strap: Soft leather.
Markings: Q64
A fantastic helmet which will be very hard to upgrade!
