Description

Untouched uniform grouping of an unknown Oberfeldwebel and musician serving with Artillerie-Regiment 10. The grouping includes a period time oil of the owner wearing example the same uniform contained in this grouping!

A very nice Heer artillery visor cap with only minor moth damage. Great shape and complete with its original attached aluminum insignia!
Fine green silk lining and green sweat-band with only minor signs of wear. Intact "Stirndruckfrei" printed celluloid diamond.

Early service tunic with two inner lower pockets. Period time attached insignia!
Collar tabs attached by hand. Breast eagle (officer's type) attached by hand. Sewn-in shoulder boards and musician's swallow nests!
A red button piping. Loops for a medal bar. At the time the oil was painted, he had just worn two medals which are still part of the grouping.
Fine silk lining. No maker's or name tag. Nice red lapel lining.
Overall good condition with signs of wear but no moth damage.
Medium size. Condition 2.

Including a separate set of artillery swallow nests.

Heer straight parade trousers with red piping. Artillery. Privately purchased. Fine quality with silk lining. Complete with all buttons. Waist: 83cm. Length: 112cm. Signs of wear and age but no moth damage.

WKC maker marked parade sabre in clearly worn condition. The scabbard was repainted decades ago and comes with great patina. Some dents. Condition 2-3. Length: 92cm

Austria Medal and 4 years Long Service Award on bar. Both are shown on the oil. An unmarked 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class. All medals in good condition.

Heer EM/NCO parade buckle with belt. The belt still shows the original felt to the back. Moth damage. The lacquered parts have turned quite hard. The leather is not flexible anymore. Nice condition aluminum buckle. Two part construction.

Including a period time oil on canvas showing the owner of this uniform grouping wearing example the same parade tunic!
Size: 33cm x 41cm. Not dated or signed. Slightly damaged to the right bottom corner.
