Description

Beautiful case of issue for a knight’s cross of the Saxon-Ernestine House Order. Here the design for the Meiningen branch. Probably the most appealing one featuring the Saxon Coat of Arms embossed in gold on a brown leather covered case. Removable inlay in green velvet will fit a 1st or 2nd class cross. Remnant of ribbon included. Maker paper label: “C.W. Löffler, Hofbuchbinderei - Meiningen”
