Bavaria - Fire brigade decoration after 25 years of service

Description

The volunteer fire brigade honor decoration was awarded between 1884 and 1914 after being issued by King Ludwig II. of Bavaria on June 24, 1884. The recipient had to be a member of a Bavarian volunteer fire brigade for 25 years but was awarded to none-firemen for special and meritorious circumstances.

Here a set of two different manufactures, one with case of issue. The one with case is made by the company Weiss in Munich, the other by A. Krempe in Passau.
