Description

This civil medal bar mount consists of a Prussian Iron Cross 2nd class (1914), Principality of Hohenzollern, House Order, Honor Cross 3rd Class with Swords (1866-1918), silver enameled with silver gilt swords, Prussia, Centennial Medal (1897), gilt bronze in smaller more pleasing design for a medal bar, City of Lübeck, Hanseatic Cross, silver and enamel, Saxe-Meiningen, Honor Cross for Merit during War, zinc, Lippe-Detmold, War Merit Cross 2nd Class on combatant ribbon, bronze gilt, Austria, Military Merit Cross 3rd class with war decoration, silver and enamel, Austria, Marinaner Cross, Breast Cross (1886), silver and enamel and Spain, Order of the Red Cross, 2nd Class Medal (1933-1939), bronze gilt and enameled.

This bar belonged to Max Adolf von Knoblauch. He was born in 1872, Captain with the reserve troops in WWI in various capacities, e.g., aid to the Governor of Warsaw.

Beautiful and tight bar by Godet (label on reverse). Far reaching medal bar in great condition.
