Photo album of an officer of the 2nd Leib-Husaren-Regiment Danzig-Langfuhr as a farewell gift from the officer corps, made between 1874 and 1882 (Commander Lieutenant Colonel Detmering, whose photograph is inserted in the first place). The manufacturer (probably Buchbinder) Eduard Kade in Berlin. The front in velvet with richly decorated corners with oak leaf décor and trophies, in the middle an attached partly enameled guard star, framed by a laurel wreath bound with a bow, executed in hand-engraved metal, a small non-disturbing defect.

The consistently large-format photographs are all labeled with name and rank in pencil.
