This pure Prussian non-combatant medal bar consist of the following: Iron Cross 2nd Class with Oak leaf cluster “25”, a Type A cross on non-combatant ribbon, Red Eagle Order 4th class in silver and enamel, 1870/71 Commemorative Medal in steel on non-combatant ribbon with three “combat” clasps (Beaumont, Sedan, Paris), Cross for “Loyalty to duty in war”, 1848/49, on non-combatant ribbon, 1864 Commemorative medal in steel and Centennial Medal.

The reverse is terminated with red felt. While the hook is still attached the bar, the needle is tucked under the felt as one of the hinges is missing.

Fantastic and old bar of somebody with a long military career in non-combatant capacity. Very likely a medical doctor.

This bar came straight of the family and was never available on the market before.
