Hammitzsch, Martin - personal "Mein Kampf" + signed postcard by Hitler

Description

Personal "Mein Kampf" of Martin Hammitzsch. He was the brother-in-law of Adolf Hilter. Martin Hammitzsch married Hitler's half-sister Angela Hitler. He served in both World Wars and left the Wehrmacht in 1943 as an Oberst. Awarded the 1914 Iron Cross 1st and 2nd Class and Saxon Albert Order Knight's Cross 1st and 2nd Class. At the end of the war, he put an end to his life. On 12. May 1945 his body was found in Oberwiesenthal.

"Mein Kampf" by Adolf Hitler. Anniversary edition from 1939. Blue leather binding. Named "Hammitzsch 1939" on the inside of the front cover. Two pages of information about Martin Hammitzsch have been inserted into the book by a professional restorer.

Also inserted into the books is an original postcard showing Adolf Hilter and HJ boys. The front comes with a very rare hand-written dedication by Adolf Hitler "Meinen treuen Hitlerjungen Werner Hammitzsch mit Dank gewidment - Adolf Hitler". On the back is the note "Am 16.4.1936 Besuch beim Führer W. Hammitzsch". Werner Hammitzsch was the nephew of Martin Hammitsch and thus also related to Hitler.

Slight signs of use. Good condition 2.
