Description

An impressive hunting dagger of assistant hunter "Hilfsjäger" Adolf Lüdtke from Rodgau. Issued by the Silesian Regional Association of the General German Hunting Association "ADJV" in August 1932.

The dagger comes with overall beautiful gilded brass fittings decorated with hunting motives. Genuine horn grip plates with five acorns on both sides and a coat of arms. An excellent etched blade on three sides. It shows also ornaments and hunting scenes as well as the inscription "Geschenk des Allgemeinen Deutschen Jagdschutz-Vereins". Made by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen. Stains on both sides.

On the reverse side of the upper scabbard fitting is engraved the text "HERRN HILFSJÄGER ADOLF LÜDTKE, RODGAU FÜR MUT UND TREUE IM JAGDSCHUTZ - AUGUST 1932 - ADJV LANDESVEREIN SCHLESIEN". Leather scabbard with gilt brass fittings.
