Extremely rare NPEA Chained Service Dagger for a leader.

The blade shows the etched motto "Mehr sein als scheinen." "Karl Burgsmüller Berlin" maker/distributor marked on the reverse. Light stains and "scratch marks" on both sides. Brown wooden handle with an inlaid eagle. Similar in design to an SA dagger but without the SA roundel. Some small holes and dents on the back of the handle. Nickel-plated zinc crossguards. Partially corroded.

Original olive-green painted steel scabbard with nickel-plated iron fittings. The scabbard has a small dent and a screw is missing. Also, one screw has been replaced.

Comes with the original aluminum dagger chain. "olc" maker marked and "Ges.Gesch." marked on the snap clip. It works completely. 

Slight signs of wear.
