A Ladies Medal"bar"

Description

Medals from a lady in form of a bow mount with matching miniature assembly. The bow consists of a Bulgarian Red Cross Badge followed by the Prussian Red Cross medal 3rd class in bronze, Baden Red Cross Merit Cross in gilded zinc, the War Merit Cross for War Participants 1914-18, with maker “G&S”, Bulgarian Medal of Merit, Type 5, Ferdinand I, in silver, Austria Red Cross Merit Medal in bronze, Turkey, Red Cross Merit Medal, Commemorative medals for WWI from Hungary and Rumania.

Interestingly the ribbons on the Bulgarian & Hungarian WW I commemorative medals are civil, while the Bulgarian silver merit medal is on the war ribbon which usually indicates some sort of exemplarily activity under fire by a civilian.

A heavily involved lady during WWI.
