Nickel-plated steel blade with the maker's mark of Robert Klaas and the etched motto "Meine Ehre heißt Treue". The so-called "Röhm" dedication on the back has been removed. Light pitting on both sides.
Black wooden grip with inlaid SS roundel and eagle. No chipping. Early nickel fittings. No marking on the lower crossguard. Original black anodized steel scabbard with nickel fittings. There are small "notches" on both edges and the ball is slightly deformed.
Includes the matching black vertical leather hanger. "RZM" and "SS" stamped. We did not open it so as not to damage the closure.
