Reichsluftschutzbund (RLB) helmet. A M38 helmet pattern known as the "gladiator" type sized 56.
The helmet is stamped 'RL2-39/11' in the neck which indicates the helmet was produced by 'Carl Busse' from Main. and includes the decal inside showing size and the maximum cost of 8 RM.
Liner: Original attached. Soft leather with cord appears to have been worn little.
Chin strap: In place. Good condition but some light cracking
Paint: Nearly 85% of the factory color in place with a rust spot aboth the decal.
Decal: 95%.
