Clean nickel-plated steel blade. No maker's mark. Gilded brass hilt fittings with a lion's head pommel. Comes with two red inlaid glass eyes. Black celluloid grip with a small crack on the upper side. Intact wire wrapping. The front langet bears the national eagle. Includes the water customs portepee, partially missing wire. Original leather scabbard with brass fittings. Acceptance mark on the crest. Crest with small dents. Also a dent in the middle. Soft leather.
