A very nice oil of Generalleutnant Graf. Painted on canvas. "Oswald Malura" (1906-2003) artist signature and "43" dated. The breast eagle was professionally overpainted. Probably by the family to hang up the painting after the war. The swastika of the War Merit Cross can still be seen. Graf was awarded with 1939 War Merit Cross 2nd Class and 1st Class with swords, WWI Wound Badge and 1914 Iron Cross 1st Class. Furthermore, he is wearing a 13-place medal bar.

Period time wooden frame. Ink stamped to the back.

Size: 128x102 cm.

Two small scratches in the painting. Good condition.

According to our consignor shows the painting Generalleutnant Graf but unfortunately, we could not more information about him.

Please note that this item is excluded from our free shipping program for ratisbon's "BRONZE/SILVER/GOLD STATUS" owners. Thanks for understanding.
