Luftschutz "Dienstbuch" service ID-card. Issued on 26. January 1942. He was involved in the defense of the Messerschmidt Werke in Regensburg on 17.08.1943. In August 1943 the U.S.Army Air Force started the Schweinfurt-Regensburg mission. It was a part of OPERATION POINTBLANK. The mission was a bombing by B-17 Flying Fortress of the US Air Force to cripple the German aircraft industry. Noted on page 23. An interesting entry!
