A beautiful medal bar set with additional ribbon bar and case of issue for a Normandy medal.

The normandy medal was issued in

Medal Bar consist of U.K. WWII Star, U.K. France and Germany Star, U.K. Defense Medal, Canadian Volunteer Service Medal, U.K. War Medal 1939-1945 (with King's Commendation Oak-leaf) and the numbered Normandy Medal (13146) with Normandy campaign clasp.

Beautiful set a rare with an actually mounted Normandy Medal.

The Royal Canadian Navy contributed 110 ships and only 10,000 sailors in support of the landings while the R.C.A.F. had helped prepare the invasion by bombing targets inland. On D- Day and during the ensuing campaign, 15 R.C.A.F.
