VIEW DESCRIPTION

Membership badge for the German Children’s Hord (Hü 9350 a). This round shaped badge has a toned silver finish with red and white enamel. On safety pin. With maker’s mark “RZM 63” and “ges.gesch.” on pin plate.

The Deutsche Kinderschar was brought to live by the NS-Frauenschaft and aimed at children aged six to ten years old. It served to indoctrinate the children early on with the National Socialist sentiment. With the age of ten the children were to join the Deutsche Jungvolk of the Hitlerjugend or the Jungmädel of the BDM. The leader of the Kinderschar was a fully trained nursery school teacher.
