Description

109 pages with fantastic color photos documenting how uniforms for the Wehrmacht were made.

Interestingly enough most female workers wear the "PC" Peek & Cloppenburg sign on their work clothing.

The company Peek & Cloppenburg was founded in Düsseldorf In March 1901. The opening of the first sales outlet in Düsseldorf at Schadowstraße 31-33 followed in the same year. After the death of company founder James Cloppenburg in 1926, his son James Cloppenburg jr. took over the management of the company and expanded the range to include women's outerwear in 1936. This made P&C Düsseldorf the first clothing store for the whole family. In the same year, the third German branch opened in Frankfurt , just a year later the fourth in Essen. All branches of the chain were destroyed during the Second World War.

Minor signs of use and age to the cover otherwise good condition.
