  If we don’t hear from you within 24 hours, we will send an invoice choosing the payment and shipping options which we think are the most comfortable ones to you. Delivery times will vary depending upon the delivery destination and type of shipping service you have chosen.

"1942/43 LAUCHA" German glider model

Description

A period German glider model (table decoration). Made from wood. Attached brass tag to the front of the base. It comes with the inscription "LAUCHA 1942/43".

Laucha Airfield:

- 1932-1937 glider airfield

- 1937-1945 "Reichssegelflugschule" gliding school for Luftwaffe trainees

- at the end of the war used by the Luftwaffe for emergency landings

- 12. April 1945 destroyed by US Army

Height: 27.5 cm.

Width: 35.5 cm.

Slight signs of use. Good condition.
