Excellent campaign commemorative porcelain plate of the Infanterie Regiment 171. Made by Meissen.
It was issued to members of the III. Batallion, who fought in the Western campaign from 10. May 1940 until 2. June 1940. The front shows a map of West Europe and documents the battles of the battalion. Colored. Blue underglaze "Meissen" swords mark to the back. "N 117" and "33" numbered.
