Excellent photo album to Obergefreiten Paul Grabowsky serving with 16./Sturm-Regiment (paratrooper). Kreta combatant!
The album was mainly taken during the Crete campaign. Very nice shots in green jumping smock, paratrooper helmets with cover, camouflaged helmets, equipment, tropical clothing, "in action", graves of the fallen soldiers as well as destroyed buildings. Furthermore some photos of the Eastern Front.
The cover comes with the lettering "Kreta 1941 - 16./Sturm-Regiment" as well as an 1939 Iron Cross.
Including his certificate to East Medal. Issued on 26.8.1942. Signed by a Major.
