Austro-Hungarian - K.u.K Hauptmann's grouping
Description
Austro-Hungarian grouping for a K.u.K. Hauptmann.
K.u.K. infantry officer's shako for a Hauptmann. Black felt finished leather corpus (helmet body). Two wide gold braids around the shako. Gilded brass helmet plate, showing the Austro-Hungarian eagle. The visor is bordered with a hand-embroidered gold aluminium wire braid. Missing cockade. Bordeaux red silk lining. Maker marked to the top, however, hard to read. Two attached brass loops inside to attach the chin strap (missing). "55 1/4" size stamped. Leather sweatband.
Including the matching helmet cover. Made from black oilcloth. Furthermore the original cap case. The closure to the top strap is missing. Signs of wear.
Officer's parade sash. It shows the monogram "FJ" of Franz Joseph as well as the Austro-Hungarian eagle.

Unknown Austro-Hungarian badge. Size: 6.5x5.5 cm.
