Extremely interesting and unique Luftwaffe tropical field cap. A field tailored cap designed like an M43 cap, however, completely tailored by hand (!).
By the sweat-stains to the inside, this field cap would have never had a lining. It was constructed exactly like this.
Machine-woven tropical cockaded. Hand-embroidered (!) tropical Luftwaffe cap eagle (breast eagle size) attached by hand. Both insignia are attached quite sloppy. In our opinion, both are absolutely period time attached.
A hand-embroidered unit cloth badge is hand-attached. It shows a penguin. The unit is unknown to us.
Size 56. Well worn condition with dark paint and staining, however, no damage or rips.
