A Third Reich period time "Ernte" (harvest) case made by KPM Berlin. Designed by Siegmund Schütz. Glazed to the inside only! Marked to the bottom.
Minor chipping to the bottom. 1934. Original "Bauch Porzellan Berlin" tag to the bottom. "34" dated as marked with "SS" runes and the mongram of the designer "Siegmund Schütz".

Seltene und feine Vase mit Schälschnitt. Königliche Porzellan Manufaktur KPM Berlin. Es handelt sich hierbei um die Bewerbungsarbeit von Siegmund Schütz für die KPM Berlin. Die Vase ist mit vielen Figuren aus dem ländlichen Alltag dekoriert. Siegmund Schütz verwendete hier eine sogenannte Schältechnik, hier wird das Motiv aus der Form fein ausgearbeitet, was den Effekt hat, dass durch den Lichteinfall in das Motiv Schatten entstehen und es sehr plastisch wirkt. Aussenseite mattiert, Innenseite glasiert.
Gemarkt mit Firmenmarke und dem Monogram von Siegmund Schütz leiertes SS, datiert 1934.
