Large grouping related to Honor Goblet recipient Unteroffizier Erwin Walter. There are many photocopies of his documents which the collector would have added since he came a small photo lot of him.
There are 8 original small size private aircraft photos as well as four original press photographs.
Photos of night fighter ace Wilhelm Herget (credited with 73 aerial victories. Another seven original aircraft photos. Six of them show a crashed German machine, one a German Nachtjäger aircraft.
10 more photos are clearly Nachtjäger related. One photo of a night fighter ace (his face is very similar but we don't know who it is) wearing his Iron Cross 1st Class.
19 photos were taken during an evening of music and entertainment of II./NJG 1 in Düsseldorf. Another 90 photos are Luftwaffe, Heer and HJ related.
A treasure trove with a lot more than we can show on the pictures. There will be many surprises for sure.
