So-called "Hüttenschuhe". Worn by Gebirgsjäger in their quarters (mountain huts) in order not to damage the ground with the hobnails of the mountain boots. Furthermore, these shoes were much more comfortable.
Constructed of brown canvas and leather. White cotton lining. "41" written by hand inside of each shoe. The soles are made from interwoven flax cords.
Length soles: 28 cm.
