A nice "small" Afrika grouping to Unteroffizier Franz Jungmann serving with kleine Kraftwagen-Kolonne (30 t) 2/259. A part of the Panzergruppe Afrika.
1939 War Merit Cross 2nd Class with swords. Issued on 8. May 1942 in Africa. Originally signed by Generalobest Erwin Rommel (Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords, and Diamonds winner). Folded and signs of use.
Heer Soldbuch. Issued on 19. June 1940 (without photo). Uffz. Jungmann was involved in the African campaign from 5. April 1941 "Seit 5.4.1941 auf afrikanischen Boden". Noted on page 20 and 21. Including further entries for this.
Awards: German-Italian Campaign Medal on 21. March 1942 and 1939 War Merit Cross 2nd Class with swords on 8. May 1942. Some pages are loose and the book is separated from the cover. Page 1 until 22 present. Furthermore a crack in the middle at all sides.
