Remains from dried weapon oil on the blade. "WKC" maker marked. Black bakelite grip plates. Attached with three rivets. No chipping. Nickel-plated iron hilt fittings. Original black painted steel scabbard. No dents. The small wooden sticks are loose inside. Possibly not the original scabbard of issue. Length: 40 cm. Condition 2-.
WWI bayonet KS98 with sawback blade. Made by Carl Eickhorn.
It comes with a sawback blade (stains). "C.E." maker marked. Black bakelite grip plates. Attached with three rivets. No chipping, however, a fine hairline crack on both sides. Eventually, the three rivets were re-attached (hammered). Nickel-plated brass hilt fittings. Steel scabbard. Remains of the original black paint are present. No dents. Including the original leather frog. Length: 41 cm. Condition 2-3.
