A stunning wartime Luftwaffe officer's cap which in well worn condition. The blue cloth turned into a khaki color. This cap could most likely been worn in Africa or any other tropical war scene as it is extremely sun bleached. When you turn the cap around, you will find a few blue areas which were covered by the sun. When you carefully try to look behind the cap eagle, you will also find blue areas. The eagle, however, was re-attached.
Hand-embroidered insignia. A bit of corrosion to the wreath badge and parts of the chin strap. Silk lining with many stains and signs of wear. Damaged sweat-band.
