VIEW DESCRIPTION

A nice Heer officer's dagger. Made by Carl Eickhorn, Solingen.

The blade is in very nice condition. "Eickhorn" maker marked. An orange handle. No chipping. Slightly faded. Nice silvered metal fittings. The scabbard is also in nice condition. No dents. Including the officer's portepee and hangers. "F.H." named (initials of the recipient). Both snap clips are fully working.

Please note this dagger was period time assambled with a Hörster made cross guard! An interesting piece with overall absolutely matching patina and nice proof of the cooperation of Eickhorn and Hörster.
