Imperial Germany 19th century German forestry hunting dagger - Hirschfänger
A so-called "Hirschfänger". 19th century. Nickel type.
No etching on the blade (used condition). A real horn grip. Leather scabbard with silvered nickel fittings. On the front of the scabbard, there is an integrated pocket for a small hunting knife, which is present. Remains of glue around the lower fitting and the throat. On the right side, a suspension loop was probably added afterwards. An overworked scabbard with signs of use.
