Description

A worn privately purchased 1st pattern visor cap. A so-called "crusher" cap which must have been made in the early 1940s. Hand-attache insignia. Machine-woven officer's eagle along with a hand-embroidered officer's wreath badge. White piping. The cap was worn with a chin strap.

Lacquered leather visor. Not too fexible anymore. Grey silk lining. Sweat-band with signs of wear and age. A part of the seam has opened towards the visor.

Minor moth damage. Size 55/56.
