Grouping to Matrosengefreiten Bernd-Karl Steenken serving with auxiliary cruiser "Thor" (Schiff 10) and cargo ship "Rio Grande". In October 1940 the "Rio Grande" left the Brazilian port and supplied the Hilfskreuzer "Thor" in the Atlantic.
