Description

Kill report document grouping to Oberleutnant Johannes Hager serving with the 6./Nachtjagdgeschwader 1 together with his two operators Feldwebel v. Bergen and Feldwebel Körschgen. Hager was credited with a total of 47 aerial victories by the end of the war. For his major success in the night of the 21.02.1945, in which he achieved 8 aerial victories within 17 minutes, he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross.

Original 6./NJG1 issued "Abschussmeldung" (kill report) for the above-mentioned group's kill of a British aircraft.

The documents state that the aircraft was shot down NW of Deelen on 17.6.1944.

23.61944 dated and signed by Hptm. (later Major) von Bonin.

 

"Gefechtsbericht" signed by Hager and a Luftkampfbericht signed per pro by Hager for Feldwebel von Bergen, who was killed in action (on the 22.6)

Three "Erkampfzeugenberichte" by Stabsgefr. Pinker, Uffz. Siptroth & Ltn. Barthel.

 

Reports of the group commander signed by Hptm. (later Major) von Bonin and the Staffelführer. The report (24.6.44) revises the attached statement from 23.6.44
