VIEW DESCRIPTION

Grouping to a German engineer serving with Brückenbau-Bataillon 522. The battalion was destroyed in Stalingrad.

The grouping consists of a Wehrmacht canteen and bread bag, his POW ID-tag "BR.BAU Kp. 1/522" as well as a Russian side cap. The soldier brought all these items home with him from his Russian captivity.
