Description

Handball sports buckle to Kriegsmarine Mechaniker-Maat Rudolf Hempel serving onboard the auxiliary cruiser "Thor". During his service in Japan, he was involved in a handball match Germany vs. Japan. You can find photos of the game in lot # 2000000517957. Probably the buckle was a gift from the Japanese team.

Tombak. Silvered. Enameled front. No chipping. Size buckle: 5x3.5 cm.
