Description
Medal grouping to Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves winner Leutnant Josef Jakwert.
- Knight's Cross on 14. May 1944 as Oberfeldwebel, Panzerjäger-Kompanie 361.
- Oak Leaves on 24. February 1945 as Leutnant, Panzerjäger-Abteilung 1562.
1957 type Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves. Unmarked, however, clearly made by Otto Schickle. Three-part construction. Iron core. Original finish. Leutnant Jakwert wears it at different veterans' meetings after the war. He was also a member of the "Gemeinschaft der Ritterkreuzträger" (Community of Knight's Cross Winners). Including the matching neck ribbon and a matching Knight's Cross case of issue.
Furthermore, an Oak Leaves miniature and two enamel membership badges of veterans' organizations.
