Wehrmacht Panzergruppe 3 vehicle door with bullet hole

Description

An original vehicle door of an unknown Wehrmacht vehicle belonged to the Panzergruppe 3. Renamed 3. Panzerarmee on 1.1.1942.

Remains of the original tan and green paint on the outside of the door. The door was found in Moselle, France (near the German border). However, the 3. Panzerarmee capitulated at Schwerin-Wismar, Germany in 1945. One can only guess how it got there!

Please note the bullet hole to the right side of the door!
