Description

Fine privately purchased coat for a Leutnant serving with 1. Nassauisches Feldartillerie-Regiment Nr. 27 which was based in Oranien, Mainz and Wiesbaden.
Fine blue coat with red lapel and piping around the black velvet collar. Blue backed Leutnant's shoulder boards with black "Prussian" threads. Gilt "Feldartillerie" emblems. Nice patina. Sewn in.

Some moth damage.
