Description

A piece of a Heer EM/NCO tunic. Cut out of the uniform. The soldier kept it as a reminder of his wounding. Probably the rest of the uniform was badly damaged in the process. Originally attached ribbon to 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class.

Infantry Assault Badge in Silver. Tombak. Hollow-construction.

Wound Badge in black. Nice condition.

A pocket mirror in its case. Damaged. The mirror was in the pocket when he was wounded. The traces of damage correspond to those on the pocket.

Ribbons to 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class and East Madel. Taken off the tunic.

His talisman.

Attached is the wooden box in which the veteran kept these pieces.
