Description

Unworn and very rare 1st pattern visor cap for a "Beamter auf Kriegsdauer". For war time civil servant as indicated by the grey cap band and the grey piping.  The cap is a real beauti but was stored incorrectly which had an affect of the visor and the overall shape.

It is not a soft leather visor but an example constructed from pressend and lacquered cardboard. Purple silk lining.  "Ernst Gierisch" maker marked swat-band without signs of wear.

Correct machine-woven officer's insignia orginally attached by hand.

Not a single moth hole! Due to the cardboard visor, there might be a good chance this cap can be put back in shape when making it vet!

Size 56.
