A nice portrait photo of General der Gebirgstruppen Rudolf Konrad. It shows him as an Oberst. Taken around 1936. At that time he served as commander of the Gebirgsjäger-Regiment 100. The photo comes with a hand-written dedication to Major Kress. Also, hand-signed by him! Including the matching presentation folder.
General Konrad was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross, the German Cross in Gold, and the Army Mountain Guide Badge.
