Rare WWI grouping to Heinrich Rinklef serving as a balloon observer (Luftschiffer) with Luftschiffer-Bataillon Nr. 4.
Imperial German Militärpaß. Issued by Ersatz-Abteilung Luftschiffer-Bataillon Nr. 1 Berlin on 12.01.1915. Military campaign list from 1.4.1915 until 11.11.1918. "Luftschiffer-Bataillon Nr. 4" stamped. The list also includes his awards and promotions. On the last page (cover) his reservist's military service book is attached.
Three excellent portrait photos showing him in the "blue" Luftschiffer tunic. One photo is signed by him. Taken in 1915. Furthermore another beautiful portrait photo of one of his comrades. It shows him in the field grey Luftschiffer tunic. Signed and "1914" dated by the soldier.
In addition, nine further period photos and postcards as well as two documents.
