Luftwaffe parachute RZ36 "Sprungfallschirm mit Dreieckskappe". Product number "10-436 A1"

It consists of the backpack with harness "10-436.03" as well as the triangle parachute canopy inside. All 20 lines are present and uncut. The quick-release buckle of the harness is fully working. Product number "10-10-E-1". Two attached cloth tags with information about the individual parts. Furthermore "BA" (Beschaffungsamt) marked.

Very nice condition. No mends or damages. A hard-to-find completely packed RZ36 parachute, only a handful are known worldwide.

This type of parachute was used by the "Kampfgruppe Stösser" during the "battle of the bulge" (Ardennenoffensive), the last big combat operation of the German paratroopers, 1200 Fallschirmjäger should secure the northern flank of the offensive, under the command of Oberst von der Heydte.
