Certificate to 1939 Iron Cross 2nd Class. Issued on 30.1.1944. Signed by Generalmajor Wilhelm Falley, Knight's Cross winner. The back contains the justification for the award. Gefreiter Wirth defend on 23.12.1943 as a MG gunner a foreign attack near Chotemlja. Until he was wounded, he inflicted heavy losses on the enemy and was able to hold the position.
