VIEW DESCRIPTION

Original visor cap skull marked RZM 254/42 with both prongs in place. Well worn.

The skull came straight of the family in November 2021 and belonged to Hans B. B was awarded the Knight's Cross on 6.5.1945 as an Oberfähnrich serving with as a platoon leader of Panzervernichtungs-Brigade Oberschlesien.

Part of the grouping is his postwar "Gemeinschaft der Ritterkreuzträger" ID card identifying him as a Knight's Cross winner. Furthemore, a photo showing him with comrades during a Wehrmacht ski trip.

While B. served with the Heer, his unit might have worn skulls for traditional reason since they were a tank distruction unit.
