Extremely rare studio portrait photo of a Waffen-SS Obersturmführer wearing an M44 "pea-dot" camo field tunic. Portraits with 1944 camo uniforms are extremely hard to find!

A October 1944 dated ink dedication of him to the reverse:

"Ein Engel, diesseits schon - Also denke ab und zu -mal an ihn.
