Porcelain plate made by the SS owned firm Allach. Presented as an honor place (Ehrenpreis) during the "Polizeileichtathletikmeisterschaften 1939 Frankfurt/O.“. Given by "Der Reichsführer-SS und Chef der Deutschen Polizei".

Fine green printed letters. Embossed large size police eagle.

Underglaze green SS Allach maker's mark.

Also, original award document to the plate as well as a document for the 1941 conducted sport festivals in Norway for the 400 m dash.

This plate was awarded to the Oberleutnant der Schutzpolizei Wilhelm Baier being in 3rd place for the “Führermehrkampf Klasse A”.

Baier joined the SS member in 1934 after being part of the Hitler Youth and member of the Death Head Platoon Oberbayern. He graduated from the SS Junker School in Braunschweig in 1936 He also was part of the Lebensborn.

He was finally promoted to the rank of a SS-Hauptsturmführer and Captain of the Protective Police on January 30, 1942.
