VIEW DESCRIPTION

Heer four pocket service tunic with matching trousers for a Hauptmann serving with Infanterie-Regiment 119. Very fine tailor's quality.

Branch: Infantry

Shoulder boards: "White" color piping. Hauptmann rank. Sewn-in type. No damage.
Collar tabs: "White" color. Officer's type. Period time attached by machine.
Collar: Dark green.

Breast eagle: Hand-embroidered officer's type. Accurately attached by hand.

Buttons: Complete and period time attached. Nice condition.
Lining: Silk. Period time attached tailor's tag that was ripped off at some point. Minor wear.

Award loops: For a ribbon bar and two pin back decorations on one pocket.

Privately purchased Heer straight trousers for a dress tunic. Makers marking inside. Length was altered in time.

Moth free! Two holes to the inside collar which came of removed pins. Maybe for a Knight's Cross ribbon?
